Bemerton St John CofE Primary School

As the Headteacher of Bemerton St John Church of England Primary School, I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. We are situated in Lower Bemerton, Salisbury, and are part of Magna Learning Partnership Trust (MLP).  The pupils, staff and governors are extremely proud of our school and our learners are at the very heart of everything we do.

Bemerton St John has a warm, family feel and fosters a sense of belonging for everyone who joins our school. Our core focus is to enable children to flourish across the curriculum and develop their own spirituality and self-confidence, ensuring they reach their potential, work within our close community family and fulfil our vision, ‘Through love, serve one another’ (Galatians 5:13).

Our school is a caring Christian community where each child is valued and nurtured as an individual. We encourage children to consistently live out our values and be respectful, thankful, wise, fair and demonstrate perseverance. At Bemerton St John, we provide an inclusive and safe environment that inspires positive and trusting relationships between school, families, the Church and the wider community. There is something truly special about our school, a feeling and ethos that visitors consistently comment upon and something that we work hard to uphold.

We pride ourselves on delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that is enjoyable and engaging for all pupils, providing them with a wealth of experience and opportunities. We have high aspirations for every child and ensure that the needs of all our children are met in all areas of school life. Our team of highly dedicated and experienced staff and governors work closely together to ensure that each child leaves us at the end of Year 6 as a passionate and resilient learner, who is excited for the challenge that lies ahead of them.

Our website is designed to provide an overview of Bemerton St John. You will hopefully find exactly what you are looking for; however, please contact the school office if you have any enquiries. We always welcome the opportunity to show you around our school so we can share what makes it such a wonderful place to be - please contact us to arrange a visit.
