This summer our topic is MASTERPIECE; we will be travelling through time from the Stone Age to the present day, looking at the art that has been produced along the way. We will also be thinking about whether Planet Earth is God's masterpiece and whether we are masterpieces too.

Amazing Africa
This term we are off to Africa, to explore the lives of the people and animals who live there, from Tingatinga animals to Nelson Mandela, via Fair Trade cocoa farmers and village water pumps. For our topic map, click here
We painted these African animals in the style of the Tanzanian artist Edward Tingatinga.
We wrote our own myths and legends about African animals and made these stunning story sticks, to help tell our stories.
River Deep, Mountain High
In terms 1 and 2 we explored the Himalayas, discovering how the mountains were formed, what it's like to live there and why climbers challenge themselves to reach the summit of Mount Everest or K2.
