Happy 4th July! To end our week in North America we celebrated Independence Day by making stars and stripes pin wheels.

We listened to an Aboriginal playing a Digeridoo it was impressive. Then we tried to play a real one that Francesca brought in - we made a terrible noise!! We decorated our own using Aboriginal inspired art; some children even used sticks to make the prints.
What fun! This week we dressed up in African inspired clothes and learned about the beat of music using drums. We also danced like the Maasai tribe of Kenya - who bounced the highest?
